------- Additional comments from jonhav...@openoffice.org Thu Oct 22 13:43:51 +0000 2009 ------- I'm using OpenOffice 3.2 beta to convert a Office 2007 Excel file (xlsx) to pdf using python-uno library. The Excel file has used unknown fonts for my system (typically Calibri). When I convert the file the resulting pdf is corrupt. No text is shown and by closer investigation it seems that the font table is completely missing. Then I tried to open the excel file in OpenOffice and export it manually (without uno) and it works perfectly. The text is shown and a font table is generated. After a lot of debugging and frustration I tried to install the vista fonts on my system, and voila, now the export via uno works as it should do. The same bug seems to apply to impress also (when converting powerpoint). It would have been nice if this bug could have been fixed since it's currently impossible to convert documents which is using unknown fonts. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
