If you set an format for a table in the table designer like
  DD.MM.YYYY
for a date field, this will not displayed always correct.

It worked by double click on the table, or if you run a query in the query 
designer.

But if you only double click on the query, the datefield format will be
ignored. In my case it will look like
  DD.MM.YY.
