Now if you have a document which is definitively freezing and want to report a
bug, first read:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/basic_rules.html
- we need the bug document
- the system you are using
- the correct OOo version
- 1 problem per issue else the report is invalid.
- a detailed step by ste description of what you do and what happens.
- a reproducible scenario (no "sometimes it freezes")
But my feeling reading yourdescription is that you have to learn to be patient
with big documents...
