The fault is always present. The smudging occurs between characters on either side of 'space' character. The .odt file (attached) shows a text in Kannada script @ 150% zoom. The problem worsens at smaller zooms. It's almost impossible to make out a space near the end of line even at higher zooms. The .pdf exported file (attached) renders perfectly.
