------- Additional comments from zern...@openoffice.org Fri Oct 30 12:57:44 +0000 2009 ------- I am a Traditional Chinese user. The traditional text direction of Chinese pieces is from right to left (vertical), while left to right method is more common now. However, the traditional form, right to left, is used in formal documents such as government texts, Chinese poetry, Chinese novels, etc. The main problem in OOO3 of Linux platform is that the vertical spacing of Chinese character doesn't fit the character itself. The after-typing cursor is located at about 3/4 length of the character from its top. And the spacing is about 1/4 short from what it should be, so each character overlaps on the upper part of the next one. It also causes hard to distinguish where the cursor really is when editing. If this can be fixed, I think that all the Chinese user under Linux environment will appreciate that a lot! --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
