Since version 3.1.1 I discover that letters in subscripts or superscripts are
badly spaced: they are placed too close to each other, providing for a lousy 
effect.

To reproduce the issue, enter for example "Ca2+" in a presentation. Format the
2+ as superscript.

While editing is active (dashed border, caret visible), the spacing is all right
and as old. When leaving edit mode, the minus sign moves to the left, closer to
the two.

Attached files illustrate the issue, in a presentation file and a PDF export.
