------- Additional comments from gossa...@openoffice.org Wed Nov 11 17:33:27 +0000 2009 ------- When using Subtotals from the Data menu I goto the options tab check "Page break between groups" and uncheck "Pre-sort sort area according to groups" It sorts everything and subtotals it the way I would expect. Under normal view the page breaks are where they should be between the groups. If you switch to Page Break Preview you will find that the breaks are no longer between each group but are in the default position to print as much as possible. When printed it will not follow the breaks seen in Normal view it will simply print as much on a page as it can. This issue was found using OpenOffice 3.1.1 on Debian. On OpenOffice 2.4 for Debian and in OpenOffice 3.1.1 for Windows the page breaks seen in Normal view will show up Page Break preview and will print the breaks appropriately.
