------- Additional comments from dash...@openoffice.org Sun Nov 15 07:21:19 +0000 2009 ------- The paste function had ceased to work. I upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1.1, but the same problem existed. I had deleted vers. 3.0, and ran registry cleaners etc, but the problem persisted. On top of that, the new installation picked up settings from the previous installation (like where I stored the documents). I picked up on a hint about JRE being a problem, and after several re-installations and cleaning up of my Java installs - including downloading a clean Java install - the problem has ceased. Somehow, some program (perhaps CA Internet Security Suite) interfered and caused a crash which corrupted how the Java worked. I can't say how. But the problem is fixed and I have also removed Computer Associates product from machine and used newer utilities to clean registry etc. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
