------- Additional comments from thylaci...@openoffice.org Mon Nov 16 15:08:18 +0000 2009 ------- Hello, I send you this email because we are using your software we had found something, we don't know if it's a reported bug, or if there's a fix. We managed more than 30 Smart Board between series 5xx & 600 and more than 1200 laptops/desktops. The use is academical/educational. And this year we only installed Open Office as office software suite. And this year we have found several problems. The program versions are: OOo_3.1.1_Win32Intel_install_en-US.exe SMART Notebook: 10.0.631.3 released October 20, 2009 SMART Product Drivers: 10.0.528.7 released October 20, 2009 OS System: Windows XP Professional SP3 We don't know why but the Marker.exe program included in the SMART Notebook is detecting the OO Impress as a OO Calc, the OO Calc as OO Impress and finally the OO Impress Presentation as OO Draw. We don't know if it's a problem of identification in the OO Suite or in the SMART Notebook, with the process explorer created by Microsoft we saw the hierarchy of processes and seems to be OK. This is the last problem in a chain of problems detected. Before this we found that when you have the OO Impress in presentation mode in laptops and you switch from laptop mode to VGA to the projector the OO, or from projection mode (still in OO Impress) to another process (for example Internet Explorer, Firefox, Media Player, …) or even from VGA projector mode to laptop mode, the OO Impress suffers a general error that kill the process and return the well known Microsoft Error Send Report/Don't Send... We have tested many configurations and finally we don't know what's happened between OO and SMART but we think the have a problem with the VGA to projector.
