These are not read only and it does not occur all the time. I have already reset my profile with no joy and there is no pattern as when or how it happens. Same document can behave differently. Some days I can paste, some others I can't! It is extremely frustrating! The button for copying is always working, is the paste button (menu) that is greyed out. Please help!
