------- Additional comments from t_serr...@openoffice.org Wed Nov 18 12:11:19 +0000 2009 ------- @andreschnabel: Just tested with Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) and OpenOffice.org 3.1.1 (build 9420). The problem is unchanged: If a MSO file is opened by MSO on Windows and OpenOffice on Linux (using cifs with noblr option set) in parallel, there is no locking at all. Both systems get write access an are able to modify the file. The last write wins. My test infrastructure (Linux): $ dpkg -l|grep samba ii samba-common 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.1 [...] ii samba-common-bin 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.1 [...] $ smbmount --version mount.cifs version: 1.12-3.4.0 If further information is needed, please let me know. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
