I'm using a P4, 3ghz w/2gb RAM. I start my mornings by starting OOo then going to breakfast. I am usually back at my desk before the splash screen goes away. It will disappear for 3-5 minutes before the program actually starts. Even then its likely to close at any given moment without notice. I'm dumping this junk and going with Microsoft.
