------- Additional comments from mackb1...@openoffice.org Sat Nov 21 01:29:11 +0000 2009 ------- I was unable to reproduce this issue on two machines of which the configurations are as follows: Machine one: Vista Ultimate 64 Bit, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 @2.66GHz, 4 Gigs RAM, OOO320-m2 Machine two: Windows XP Pro SP 2, Intel Core 2 T7200 @ 2.00GHz, 1 Gig RAM, OOO300-m15 List of Follow-up Tests Completed: - I tried multiple slides (1-22 total slides) - I tried slides with heavier amounts of content - I tried with hardware acceleration both on and off to look for differences and possibly trigger the error with acceleration turned on. - Tried varying my speed on moving the slider from very slow to as fast as I could as it may have been a timing issue. - Tried with several different files, tried saving and closing a file and trying again. - I ran with multiple applications running on my machines in an effort to steal resources away from the program. - I ran with no other major user applications running on my machine to see if a noticeable difference in the display performance could be seen from the above test. - I changed the memory and cache settings in the program to be very minimal in an attempt to starve Impress into displaying the error. - Created and saved a presentation in PowerPoint 2003 & 2007and tried to reproduce the issue in Impress to see if maybe a conversion error between programs would induce the error. Questions for the original reporter: 1. Is the number and content of the slides important to this issue or can you replicate the issue using various numbers of slides and varying content? 2. Does the issue happen if you do not use zoom on the main slide? 3. Did the turning off of the hardware acceleration option prevent the issue from happening again? 4. Can you provide some more detail on the system you found this issue on? There may be something in your configuration that I am unable to replicate. 5. Can you reproduce this issue in any other files? If not, can you provide a copy of the file you were using when you reported this issue? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
