The bug is not related to 7553 because my file doesn't contain linked graphics, and I'm loading in scalc, not in swriter. The large html file itself is allright; it loads in a few seconds in MS Excel 2002 (yes, 2002). I would have attached my file but it appears that I cannot do that here.
