------- Additional comments from mey...@openoffice.org Thu Nov 26 21:10:22 +0000 2009 ------- I agree, my issue was not clear at first. I don't think. that the warning is enough: „This document may contain formatting or content that *cannot* be saved in the Microsoft Word 95 file format.“ I lost data (characters) and formatting, which *can* be saved in the Microsoft Word 95 file format! (Maybe cannot be saved by OO, which is a pity, but can be saved (by word96 itself e.g.) My as user I uderstand, that „newer“ formattings and special things could get lost, if word95 hadn't implemented them. But I don't understand, that I lcould loose simple things. And it is very bad, that i find the problem only after saving and reopening. Then it's to late (unless i made a odt-copy before). I could agree with default off for the odt-backups. But the enhancement would be great and the warning could inform over the backup-possibility then. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
