Sorry, but it does not. I have tried to get subnumbering to work in any way
shape or form but it does not budge. I am using build 1.9.79 under XP. Are you
sure you tested it in a similar environment. I tried it on three different
machines and i am definetely no rookie in using text editors. Please describe a
detailed use case under which you can get a numbering like:

1 some text
   1.1. some more text
     1.1.1. even more than some more text
   1.2. jump one back
2 and all the way back.

I also asked three other people to try it on their machines. No cigar!
