In the end I found another tool called UMLet [http://www.umlet.com/] that does a fantastic job and is very easy and quick to use, and it's free. I design my UML diagrams in UMLet, export it to a image and import that image into OOo. Sorry, but OOo is just taking too long to get UML support in OODraw. UMLet is a Java application and can even be used as an Eclipse IDE plug-in.
