In OOo trailing spaces are not taken into account. This is not bad on its own, but is an incomptibility to MS-office, so tables safed as .xls look fine in OOo but fail in ms-office. In the attached file the value "ref2 " at cell A7 has a trailing space, the searchvalue in A20 has not.
