I could then load them and save them as .ods files. The file i uploaded earlier was copied from one network drive to another network drive, and it could then be loaded without hanging. Other files i loaded directly from the original network drive without any problems. The problematic files had one thing in common: they all had links to other files and i was prompted if i wanted to update the links or not.
