When autosave is turned on and I'm reading a document, the page refreshes and
switches to whatever the page the cursor is on, rather than remain on the page
I'm reading.

Example: I'm reading a student's paper. I made a comment on page 2. I've
scrolled down and am now reading page 4. I'm about to make a note of something,
but the autosave kicks and and the page refreshes back up to page 2, where I
made my last comment and the cursor is sitting. Now I've lost my place on page
4 and I need to go back and reset myself, interrupting my entire work flow. It
makes grading papers frustrating, because I often have to move back and forth
across a document just to read information, but the autosave continually takes
viewing out of my hands.

This is an issue at least on both Linux and Windows, on PC's, and has been for
as long as I can remember.

Ideally, when an autosave happens, the visible page should remain on the screen.

If there's an easy fix for this, I've not found it.
