Does this really fix the save as situation mentioned in issue 46059 as well?
i.e. the filetype selection should not be hidden in the "advanced" settings of
the dialog.
Could you attach a screenshot of the "save as" dialog?
I for myself like the way it is solved in gimp very much (I'll attach the
screenshots here now as issue 46059 was marked duplicate)
