Thanks for the issue. But if you query IssueTracker on mail merge, there are
already some issues (155 ..).
Also, your report combines more ideas/requests.
It would be helpful if you could check the existing issues, add your comments to
the related (clarify when needed).
I'm sorry, I know this is not easy. But it also gives you a bit better change
that the topic is picked up, since a better description is avaialable and less
(related/duplicate) issues exist.
You might also - when you are really serious - ask attention from the ux
project.
Best (even more work ...) would it to check all mail merge issues (or more or
less related to your one) and bundle the info in a few clear proposals ...
You will find, when needed, some other project members for suggestions/
assistance.
