------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 19 05:12:30 -0700 2005 ------- I have a document, created in OOo1.1, which I have tried editing/revising using OOo2b and saving in the new .odt format (I've been using OOo2b for early evaluation and to try and contribute to testing). I've had problems with Outline Numbering in OOo2b, which forced me back to OOo1.1.4. Having done that, the document is now very difficult to work with - it's unresponsive, particlarly when deleting (I do not have "Show Changes" active). It now also frequently reports an error when I try to save in OOo1.1.4 ("General Input/Output Error"). I can only get around this by saving in Star Office 5 format and then resaving in .sxw (I have found this trick to be useful with these types of errors). In short, moving to .odt format and then back to .sxw appear to have corrupted the document in some way that makes it difficult to use. I have searched the issues database for other reports. The document does contain some commercially sensitive information, so I'd rather not post it. However, I can send it by email. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
