------- Additional comments from solitude_aetur...@openoffice.org Mon Dec 14 14:38:14 +0000 2009 ------- Hello. Just wanted to throw you all a heads up on Office 2010 Beta. If a user installs the beta it renders OpenOffice inoperable and will set all OpenOffice applications to open up in the applicable MS Office 2010 program. I didn't try dBase. I was too appalled at a clear attempt of Microsoft to break another party's software. Just thought I would let you know in case you wanted to send the legal team to court on this matter. This may extend to the released MS office (whatever that is). I haven't used MS Office since Office 97, nor will I ever upgrade, so whether that breaks your software or not, is unknown to me. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
