This is nice feature but I think it is a bit confusing for an user creating some new composition by Undo command. With only Expand Slide command you miss the original slide. So it seem to me than Expand Slide command is multistage process in which there is a deletion of original slide as the last step. What I propose is than in Insert menu of Impress we add an simpler command without this deletion step. I can be named for example "Insert - Subs slides". And Undo of this command reset situation to former state. And of course it is nice if undoing the Expand Slide command do the same. For example if an user like first create a slide with table of contents (s)he can create whole set of half ready slides with one command.
