When identical Alphabetic document index marks are entered into a document -
using the Insert Index/Table first TAB [Index/Table] the options to combine
identical entries with either p/pp or - DO NOT yield the correct result.
eg: on Page 13 Toxic ( Entered as an index mark )
and Page 17 Toxic ( Entered as an index mark )
The resultant index should be ( with the combine with - flag enabled )
Toxic 13-17
Both 3.1.1 and DEV300m67(Build 9466) produce
Toxic 13,17
If this cannot be fixed could M$Word style Bookmarks for ranges be used in
indexes ?
