------- Additional comments from mro...@openoffice.org Fri Dec 18 03:36:17 +0000 2009 ------- Create a writer document with some portion in Edwardian Script ITC Std.otf font. Press PDF export button in bar at top of window. Resulting pdf has a very different font substituted for Edwardian Script. However, if you click the PDF export button in the File->Print dialog, a proper PDF is printed (this is the native pdf export button I have discovered on the net). Two differently operating PDF export buttons make for a very confused user. According to google, the PDF button in the window bar produces a lower quality version based on the PDF options dialog (can't find it, maybe this is the one in the Print dialog??). However it is not clear how to set the PDF options dialog in order to preserve all fonts. Also, the PDF button from the window bar silently fails to include the selected font. Help is very unsatisfying too. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
