------- Additional comments from jp...@openoffice.org Fri Dec 18 09:39:28 +0000 2009 ------- I am unable to use any MySQL databases via ODBC in Base in 320m7, either using .odb files from OOo 3.1 or creating new connections using the wizard. Symptoms: Base appears to connect successfully, prompting for a password if required, and displays the correct number of tables. However, all the table names and contents are blank (see attached screenshot). Steps to reproduce: >From the OOo-Dev Database Wizard: Connect to an existing database -> MySQL -> Next Connect using ODBC -> Next Browse for the ODBC data source -> Next Test Connection -> "Connection established successfully" -> OK -> Next Do not register the database -> Open the database for editing -> Finish This is on a current Ubuntu 'Karmic Koala' system, unixodbc 2.2.11-16ubuntu1, mysql-server 5.1.37-1ubuntu5 --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
