------- Additional comments from maeherrasenh...@openoffice.org Tue Dec 22 10:38:55 +0000 2009 ------- hi there, I got a problem with openoffice after upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 (Fedora 10 to Fedora 11). Previously I could convert all types of documents to PDF by using this command: /usr/bin/ooffice -headless -pt PDF-Konverter "Profil.rtf" Now this still works (i.e. it creates a PDF-file), but the command does not return after printing. Instead I have to kill it. As a "workaround" I found that I have to start first /usr/bin/soffice -accept=socket,host=localhost,port=8100;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager -headless -nologo -norestore -nofirststartwizard (that does not return either, but this time probably on purpose....) When I issue the above first command again, it prints and returns, but this Server-Mode-OpenOffice has to run in the background..... What is the difference between 3.0 and 3.1 and how can I create PDF's with just a single instance of openoffice?
