------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue Apr 19 07:34:31 -0700 2005 ------- When importing XML to OpenOffice through a custom XSLT filter, in some special conditions OO produces invalid output of certain non english characters randomly. These invalid characters appear as ï in the resulting document. In Finnish language these characters are "ÃÃÃ". Similary also certain special german, russian, etc couse randomly invalid character output. To produce this bug, the source XML document has to be relatively large. I have a simple XSLT file to produce XML filter and a simple XML file to be tranformed from demostrating this bug. To produce the bug make a simple XML filter "fonttest" of the attached fonttest.xsl document and open the attached fonttest.xml document with it. The transformation should go fine, but you should notice a few ï character spread randomly around the document.
