------- Additional comments from iront...@openoffice.org Mon Jan 4 04:19:49 +0000 2010 ------- SVG files that Draw exports are incorrect. Simple Test Case: 1: Open Draw and make a number 5 using 5 line segments. for simplicity, only construct the #5 out of vertical and horizontal lines. 2: Export drawing to SVG 3: Open SVG file and examine the data. You will find that the start and end positions are incorrect. 4: Import the SVG file into any SVG reader including the SVG import extension for Draw. This verifies that the data is incorrect. You won't see a #5, just 5 overlapping horizontal and vertical lines. For such a simple example, this seems to indicate that the Draw's SVG export functionality is broken. More complicated images understandably yield considerably worse results. Draw is an excellent tool. Working SVG support is crucial as it is a widely used format.
