As long as I see a '--enable-test' and '--with-system-cppunit' configure switch for linux. All the test code is in an own tarball separated from core, extensions, system, l10n, etc. And there is a 'make test' equivalent for dmake, either with a parameter for the path to an installset or the path taken from make_installer.pl.
