------- Additional comments from areind...@openoffice.org Fri Jan 8 00:25:06 +0000 2010 ------- In Writer, when I am in a new document, I click on the FORMAT menu, and then click on the PAGE item, no window appears. When I click anywhere on the screen I get a beep every time I click. I can press the 'esc' key on the keyboard to exit this semi-hung state. This also happens for the FORMAT > CHARACTER menu. Other menus under FORMAT, like Paragraph, Bullets and Numbering, and Columns all seem fine. I am running Windows XP SP3 and have reinstalled OO which has not changed the behaviour. I cannot find any record of this issue on the support forums or anywhere else on the internet. I encountered this when I wanted to change the page orientation to Landscape.
