When adding colors to fill a rectangle for a mockup to our web designer, I
wanted to use some of the colors from another website. So, I used a tool to
identify the colors, then went in and added them in the Colors tab in the Area
dialog box. With some colors, the colors displays correctly on screen, but is
not correct when the drawing is opened on another computer (beige becomes lime
green, for example). With some other colors, the color does not display
correctly in the drawing or when opened on another computer (beige displays as
lime green, even though the rgb is for beige). This is very limiting when trying
to pick/add custom colors, especially when your design depends on being able to
use a certain color. This beige, called Almond, displays as lime green, for
example, in OOo Draw: HEX: #C2A378 RGB: 194,163,120. This is not a monitor
issue, since the color displays fine in the browser and photo-editing windows.
