------- Additional comments from fird...@openoffice.org Mon Jan 11 21:46:50 +0000 2010 ------- Type 'Hello World' Highlight 'Hello World' Right Click Choose 'Character...' Enter text (e.g. 5 or II) into the Name field Click Ok With 'Hello World highlighted: Go to Insert > Hyperlink If all has gone as it does in my version the 'Text' field is currently empty. However, in actuality the 'Text' field should hold the value 'Hello World'. (This can be tested by skipping the Name step in the above instructions.) enter a value into the 'Path' field (browsing or typing) click 'Apply' Notice that the 'Text' field takes on the value of the 'Path' field and overwrites the text in the document (i.e. 'Hello World'). This is sub-optimal. Close the Hyperlink dialog Hit ctrl-z (undo) Go to Insert > Hyperlink Notice that the 'Text' field is now populated by the original text, in this case 'Hello World'. This is the optimum result and I would suggest, the behavior that should always be seen. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
