The reset flag is missing after saving/closing the document. If the numbering becomes the second numbering in the document, it is possible to reset numbering in a way that stays. from content.xml: First list always is: <text:list-item> Following lists are: <text:list-item text:start-value="1"> I can only reproduce when lists are made with numbering styles - not default numbering.
