------- Additional comments from peterro...@openoffice.org Wed Jan 20 17:20:05 +0000 2010 ------- This issue seems to have generated a lot of postings on the forums but, so far, it still seems an issue in OOO3.1 Any possibility of a fix? It seems crazy that you can store a picture in a database, and even display it on a form but otherwise do nothing with it. You can't include it in a report and you can't use it in a mail merge. I have been trying to use OOObase to generate photo ID cards for staff but it seems to be rather a non starter. The extension mentioned by Rigpa IT is nice but adds too many extra steps for non experts to use - they want a 'selected it' 'print it' approach. A template for a mail merge with a database could be made fairly simple to use if the pictures just came over like every other field. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
