Every devloper I speak to says that this is a major issue with Ooo. In addition, Since when does this affect the UI? Maybe if you want all these crazy save options, but we don't need that. Use the format of the column like MS Excel does it. If the column is formated text, put quotes around it. If its a decimal with four decimal points, export it with four decimal points. If the date is formated YYYY-MM-DD export it that way. If the column is formated "General" don't put quotes around it. This is pretty basic stuff. Why hasn't anyone addressed this in 3 YEARS!?!
