I have tried reinstalling with yum but to no avail. To reproduce the crash, in a terminal, I type ooffice and a gui comes up that asks me if I'd like to open a presentation, a document, a spreadsheet, etc. I click on one of the icons and receive a pop-up window that contains the crash report I copied below.
