------- Additional comments from [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Apr 20 11:32:24 -0700 2005 ------- For oo 1.9.93 with a fresh install on redhat EL3, if I start openoffice, I see: javaldx: Could not find a Java Runtime Environment! Path includes the java bin dir at the front, and I tried setting JAVA_HOME as well, but the only impact is that it takes oo longer to start up. I do see a java process with openoffice dirs in the classpath during the long startup.
