Select all cells by clicking the box in the corner at the intersection of the column and row headings (left-upper corner) (you can also do it by Edit > Select all) 3. Place the cursor on the divider between rows 1 and 2, and double click it, so Calc will auto resize all rows (in this scenario, you probably won't notice any difference, but it's not the point) 4. Again place the cursor on the divider between rows 1 and 2, and now resize it manually by dragging the divider. 5. After releasing the mouse button, Calc freezes (cpu load jumps to 100%). It will unfreeze after a short while (athlo...@ubuntu ~20 sec; athlo...@win7 ~2 sec) 6. Unless you remove the selection, repeating the 4th step will trigger the issue all over again. Notes: 1. The issue occurs also on Windows 7, so it's most likely that it affects all OSes. 2.
