------- Additional comments from egonsch...@openoffice.org Tue Feb 9 20:21:57 +0000 2010 ------- OpenOffice 3.2 RC5 + SRB 1.2 beta 1.2.m8 (SRB 1.1 has the same bug ) I tried to find a simple way : 1. open a new report in design mode 2. make the window smaller, so that the scrollbars are visible 3. move the scrollbars in the middle of their range 4. take a rectangle from the tool bar 5. move to the detail part and draw some rectangles. move then around and so on. Keep the scrollbars in the middle and continue. I think you will see that mouse coordinates get lost. The elements jump from one region to another, the window scrolls in all directions( in big reports ). This is an urgent bug, for big reports always have scrollbars. Some Hints: I tried to avoid using the items horizontal and vertical line to get rid of the problems with the collision check with other elements. I used the rectangle moved it behind a textfield. This worked fine to do wonderful table grid, as long as you do not use background color for the textfield. The background color of the text field is clipped.-> ------------- this is a pitty pitty pitty ---- This feature working, would help a lot doing table reports. -> transparent rectangle could help as well maybe there is a possibility to either: - remove collision check of lines - transparent rectangles - not clipping text background color --------------------------------------------------------------------- Please do not reply to this automatically generated notification from Issue Tracker.
