However, when STYLE is used in this way, it seems to prevent cell notes from popping up as usual when the mouse cursor hovers over the note cell. Although this use of STYLE and conditional formatting is somewhat unorthodox, it is very useful, and it should not interfere with the notes feature. See the attached document for a sample.
