Not doing that conversion could be done in five minutes. A UI for that would
need to be defined; I guess an additional checkbox in the PDF dialog would do.
The PDF spec does not explicitly rule this out (see section 8.6 "interactive
forms", subsection 8.6.2 "field dictionaries", subsubsection "field names") -
although you would get a fully qualified field name that does not represent the
field hierarchy anymore - so if the user explicitly decides he wants that, I
think we can do him that favor. I'll have to check if acrobat sees this as an
error or not.
