This would be a great feature. I just used OODraw for live mind mapping in a
conference with about 80 people in the room. It was perfect, except that the
text overlapped, and since it didn't follow the line, it wasn't really possible
to tell what text belonged to which connector.

Ideally, text would be centred at the midpoint of the line (NOT the centre of
the connector, which is directly between the endpoints, and sometimes nowhere
near the line), and follow the direction of the line at the midpoint.
