In OpenOffice 3.1.1 there is no option in Paste special for "HTML without comments". There are only "HTML" (with comments) and "Unformatted text". 2. I think it is important that those HTML information is not lost, o.k. But I can't imagine of any user who likes tens of visible comments in the text document after copying a webpage into it. This seemed to me like an annoying bug in the first place.
