JA: my own measurements for starting "soffice -writer" show a complete different
timing. In src680m79 it was about five seconds and within the current developer
build it's four seconds (mean value of ten measurements). Please take care about
using a recent graphics driver as it can influence application startup time by
factor two. Measurements have been done on an aged 1.8 Ghz Intel based single
processor system with 512 MB ram.
ja->peterbinney: I'm very sorry but I have to close this issue as worksforme. On
the other hand performance optimization is continously done within the
development builds (currently on build src680m95). Please take a look at a more
recent build as several startup related problems have been fixed.
