When I type in the following values (cells A16:I16) 179 199 202 229 249 263 263 263 227 and the function into J16 which is =MEDIAN(A16:I16) the result is 229, whereas it shall be 249, because "median" is the middle value (or aritmetic mean if the number of numbers is odd). The screenshot is here http://img408.yfrog.com/i/screenshotopenofficeorg.jpg/ Then I type into a cell the following formula: =MEDIAN(179; 199; 202; 229; 249; 263; 263; 263; 227) and the result is 249 which is, again, wrong as it should be 249.
