- did it work with older versions, e.g. 3.1 or 3.2? If yes, when was the

- what is the color depth of the display?
- do other applications have antialiased fonts on that platform?
- what is the setting of
Start->ControlCenter->Display->Appearance->Effects->SmoothingMethod?
- any other noteworthy details?
