I seem to have the same situation as kb0000 without the refernces to any other 1.9.x builds. /etc/openoffice.org-1.9/openoffice.org1.9.95 is linked to /opt/openoffice.org1.9.95 Only root has menu items. However, when I go to /usr/share/applications and click on one of the OpenOffice.org 1.9 icons (such as OpenOffice.org 1.9 Calc which is linked to /etc/openoffice.org-1.9/share/xdg/calc.desktop) OOo starts up. So the /etc/openoffice.org-1.9/share/xdg/___.desktop files open OOo, in my case there are no menus for anyone but root (root being the user that ran the rpm install) I did notice that there were a lot of errors noted during the install? Should we try to capture these?
